Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was lovely, close to town but with a peaceful atmosphere, although the room I was assigned was already occupied by a romantic couple, which was shocking and disappointing. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional, especially with their willingness to accommodate our last-minute room upgrade. The dining experience was a letdown, with standard breakfast options and road noise from the bridge affecting the atmosphere. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement in some areas.
The hotel was indeed beautiful, very central, and right on the harbor. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, but unfortunately noisy due to bridge traffic and lacked cooking facilities. The service was incredibly helpful and placed us in a nice room overlooking the water. The dining experience was okay with limited choices. Despite some downsides like noise and lack of cooking facilities, the hotel's central location and friendly service were highlights.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the noise level from the urban surroundings was a downside. The view from the room was amazing, and the spa bath was a real treat.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were located on the ground floor at the end of a long hallway, and I enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the water. However, it was a shame that the parking situation wasn't sorted out, and the lobby was too cold on a wet and miserable day.
The hotel had spacious rooms, well equipped with an actual king bed. However, the location was not ideal due to its proximity to a busy road. Service was a mixed experience with friendly staff but some misunderstandings. The dining options were satisfactory but could have been improved. The hotel offered some facilities but lacked in certain areas.
The hotel offered spacious and comfortable rooms, although there was a persistent damp smell during my 3-night stay. The location, while slightly set back from the water, was convenient with friendly staff. The dining experience was reasonable but lacked variety, and the facilities were well-kept.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The room had a big bathroom with a bath and a beautiful view of the harbor, opposite the hotel's restaurant and bar area. The water and harbor view exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and helpful, despite some noise issues in my experience, the staff were warm and welcoming, making for a very central location to explore Mount and Tauranga. The location, though small, had its charm with the water lapping the rocks right outside, although it was under renovation during my stay. The dining experience was fantastic with a great selection, especially glad to see breakfast service back on track. The facilities were kept up well. However, the area didn't cater to many seated guests, missing out due to renovation on the waterfront views I had hoped for.
